Elimco Aerospace takes flight. The Andalusian aeronautical company specializing in the creation of customized solutions in engineering, manufacturing and services for electrical, electronic and avionics systems celebrates its first anniversary as part of the Ingemont Group with improved results and growth prospects.
In the 2018 financial year, Elimco Aerospace‘s revenue reached €5.4 million and for 2019, the company estimates that it will reach a turnover of €6.7 million, which would represent a growth of 16%.
The company is in the midst of developing of its 2019-2025 Strategic Plan. According to it, in 2022 it expects to bring its turnover to 15 million euros and increase its internationalization, focused on Europe and Saudi Arabia, with the aim of having a presence where its customers are located to provide them with better service.
With 80 employees, Elimco Aerospace has become established as an Airbus supplier contractor, which has allowed it to participate in the European aeronautics giant’s main programs (the A380, A400M, A330MRTT, C295, CN235, Eurofighter and the Tiger and NH90 helicopters).
Recently, Airbus itself recognized Elimco Aerospace with the Best Improver award in the Structures and Materials category for the initiatives focused on the continuous and sustainable improvement of its production processes, using Innovation as a transmission belt, standardization and management.
The company is strongly focused on innovation, which is why it currently capitalizes three of the Ingemont Group’s six R&D&I projects.
