ELIMCO leads in Andalusia, the R&D project based on drones to increase efficiency, safety and environmental protection in infrastructure maintenance.
The project, awarded in 2018, has a duration of 27 months and an overall budget of €2.4 M, and has as its main objective the development of an inspection and maintenance system based on drone technology to cover the main needs in the civil engineering sector, electrical infrastructures and petrochemical infrastructures.
Consortium members include CEMOSA, CUALICONTROL, ALTER TECHNOLOGY, ROVIMÁTICA e INGEMONT , and renowned technology centers in Europe such as TECNALIA or CATEC.
This project is finance jointly by the European Union.
